Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology will proudly host the “Silk Road International Conference on Architecture and Technology” from October 19th to 21st, 2023 in Xi’an on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the “Belt and Road” Initiative. The conference aims to promote exchanges and cooperation among universities, enterprises, and institutions in the field of architecture and technology along the Silk Road, advance technological progress in the industry, jointly work towards building a better living environment for humanity, enhance the well-being of people residing along the Silk Road, and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

The conference, themed “Building a Better Home for All”, will bring together leaders and experts from over 50 universities, research institutions, and leading enterprises across more than 20 countries along the Silk Road.The participants will engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on key areas such as architecture and technology innovation, human settlements, talent training, industry-academia-research collaboration, and innovative preservation of traditional culture.

The conference will initiate the establishment of the “Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities” and form the “Xi'an Consensus”. In addition, the “Silk Road International Architecture and Technology Development Blue Book” will be unveiled at the conference and a high-level symposium on architectural technologies will be held.
