XAUAT News Network: In the afternoon of July 29,2023 the delegation led by Hui Song, associate professor of the School of Architecture (who is also in charge of Academician Xiaodong Wang’s Studio) and project manager Baoping Wang of XAUAT’s central Asia programs visited Samarkand State University of Uzbekistan and met its Vice President Akhatov Akmal and Dilshod Oblokulov, Head of International Relations Department.

Both institutions expressed a strong desire to strengthen cooperation in the joint cultivation of talents and innovation in research. Then, they agreed to collaborate on establishing a “Belt and Road” joint laboratory.

Based on the Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities, it’s hoped that the two institutions could strengthen comprehensive strategic cooperation and seek more opportunities regarding talent training and international scientific and technological cooperation.
