XAUAT News Network: School of Architecture (SOA) held a video conference on June 6, 2023, with Chulalongkorn University’s School of Architecture to discuss cooperation in architecture related programs. Dean Sarayut Supsook, Lei Zhendong, Vice Deans Saranya Siangarom, and Gao Bo from both institutions attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Fan Zhengyu, assistant to the Dean of SOA.

During the meeting, Fan introduced the primary information of SOA regarding its development history, program offering, and international cooperation. Saranya Siangarom also introduced Chulalongkorn University of primary settings, faculty scales, academic journals, and international cooperation programs.

On behalf of the school, Dean Supsook expressed the willingness to expand cooperation with SOA actively. Dean Lei also noted that in light of the “Belt and Road Initiative,” SAO would highly expand channels for international exchange and cooperation, integrate superior resources, and promote cooperation in education and research among the “Silk Road” countries.

Both then discussed inter-school visits, exchanges, and cooperation in the field of teaching and research. All consented that this online meeting was an excellent opportunity for further multidisciplinary and in-depth collaboration to create a win-win situation for the two schools and universities.
