XAUAT News Network: The 2nd Young Scholars Seminar of “Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities” was held online from June 6-7, 2023 at the XAUAT Yanta campus.

The Office of International Affairs organized the event. It has attracted hundreds of students and faculties from member institutions of the “Alliance,” and 12 excellent young scholars were invited as guest speakers: Wang Chunmei, the Vice Director of the Office of International Affairs.

Profs. Zhai Yongchao and Fan Zhengyu (School of Architecture), Prof. Tao Yi (School of Civil Engineering), Prof. Wang Yingying (School of Building Services Science and Engineering) and Profs. Zhang Haihan and Li Qian (School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering), together with Prof.  Nabah Ali Saad and Drs. Faizan Nazir and Bawar Iftikhar (Information Technology University, Pakistan) and Drs. Kvasnikov Timofei, Meliksetyan Sergey, and German Vladislav (Moscow State University of Civil Engineering) presented excellent reports on the latest achievements in their respective fields.

After the seminar, students and faculties continued in-depth discussions in related fields and looked forward to deepening cooperation in research.

The seminar was one of the serial events of SRIAATU, which has demonstrated the latest outcomes, experiences, and trends of XAUAT’s outstanding scholars, as well as broadened our international vision among students and faculties, thus boosting exchange and cooperation among member institutions.
